Today we learned about: twitter, podcasting, one note, and adobe acrobat.
What I learned about the technology twitter- hashtags, podcasting- recording our 3-5 minute introduction about ourselves, one note-exploring OneNote learning where everything is. Adobe-learned different items and commands.
How it can be used or is being used in your academic or personal life? Twitter- tweeting about different things for assignments or even to help others in the office. Podcasting that can be used to record classes or even meetings in the office. OneNote that can be used to put all of the assignments for classes in one spot I currently use it this way. In the office it can hold the meeting minutes. Adobe when you have to post something and you do not want someone messing with it you can save it as pdf and adobe opens it.
How can it be used in your intended career or job? Twitter can be to help someone in the office with a project and you found a website that might help them. Podcasting can be used to help you practice a tricky presentation that you have to give. One note can be used to help keep all of the different websites for the presentation in one spot so you do not have to dig for the website again. Adobe can help you be able to put the report on the web for others to be able to read.
What work will you do before the next class? I will complete my 3-5 min script on my favorite book/movie. I will also complete pages 1-9 in the OneNote book. I will also tweet about OneNote.
